Are they for Dull Men?

What will the Dull Men Club be doing to celebrate the Millennium? What will they be doing on New Year’s Eve? We'll be doing nothing, basically. For us, it's simply another day.

And simply another New Year's Eve, which means we'll be doing something that we do each New Year's Eve – practicing writing checks for 2000. We want to start the New Year on the right foot. We don't want to be making mistakes in 2000 writing checks with the date 1999 on them. Herblock hit it right on the head in his recent cartoon in the International Herald Tribune:
