HANK FIDDLE

Hank Fiddle

Hank Fiddle was born in Vienna Austria in 1945, immediately after the war was over. He was born as “Heinrich,” but later moved to the U.S. where he took the name Hank.

Both of his parents were musicians. His father played the violin. His mother played the zither. But Hank became an accountant.

With a name like Fiddle, however, he always had a hard time finding a job. In private industry, reputable firms, politely, turned him down. Finally, in Washington DC, he found a job – in the U.S. government, working on budget forecasts.

Hank joined the DMC in Washington in 1991. He found a home, in Washington and in the DMC.
