David’s methodical [dull men are methodical] recordings in his Lawn Mowing
Diary were recently published in a 2005 study of global warming by the Royal
Meteorological Society. David’s diary shows that grass now grows one month
more than it did 20 years ago.

“I didn’t think I was doing anything out of the ordinary [dull men like to stick with
the ordinary],” David said when told about the monumental significance of his
work.
